Why Scarecrows?
I have always been fasicinated by those motionless windswept figures sillohetted on the landscape. The Solitude, The Vision.
Fear not, the apparent lifeless soul who hangs in the wind crucified is not as lifeless as may at first seem. Under his cloak of darkness beats the wings of Ravens ,Sirus and Nimbus, his eyes and ears and his window into the world. Altavian has life and is the bringer of smiles to replace cries. As the wind blows the corn Altavian sways to the rythum. The Sun though bright can be cast into shadow by the wings of Ravens, as can the Moon. The distant croaking of a wise flock announces that all is well in the realm of Altavian. Even the mighty Eagle bows to thier call.
